Thank you to all the leaders and parent volunteers that help make the Valley Lake Service Unit and girl scouting so great! Leader meetings are finished for the 2013-2014 Girl Scout season. In the fall, leader meetings will resume, beginning on Thursday, September 11, 2014.

  • All meetings run from 6:30-8:00p and are held (usually) the first Thursday evening of each month during the school year.
  • Come & get the scoop about what's new in Girl Scouts, hear the latest re: events, ideas, training, girl-happenings, cookie-sales & much more. You need this info to stay up-to-date on leading your troop(s)!
  • Let's hear your ideas, comments & suggestions. Our Share Ideas page of this website needs your clever input to inspire other leaders! Is there a topic you'd like to include on the meeting agenda? Contact Amy Fewell, Service Unit Manager.
  • Meeting is held in the Chapel area (main floor, rear of building). Please note that sign-in at the door is required for all attendees (this is a secure, senior-living building). Also note that if you must bring a child along to the meeting, they MUST sit quietly & remain within the meeting room at all times.
  • Share Your Troop's talents, accomplishments & projects--troops are welcome to hold a flag ceremony, discuss their recent service projects or activities, or even teach everyone a new song!
